Walleye Fishing Northeast of Sudbury on Lake Onaping

Lake Onaping Lodge & Northern Wilderness Outpost Camps is located on Lake Onaping, which has the best reputation for monster-size trophy Walleyes. In addition to big Walleye, smaller Walleyes in the 1 to 3-pound range can be caught in big numbers. This is big water and produces big fish. The northern part of the lake where the outpost camps are located is dotted with hundreds of islands and tons of Walleye hotspots. The lodge is located on the west shore and outpost cabins are located in various remote locations at the north-end of Lake Onaping. They also have great fishing for Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass and the southern end of the lake has monster Lake Trout.
