Walleye Fishing on the Attawapiskat River

Hearst Air offers seven fly-in outpost camps on seven different lakes. They also offer drift-boat adventures on the Attawapiskat River, which flows into James Bay. All locations are world class destinations for Walleye fishing. Walleye can be caught in great numbers as well as trophy sizes with Walleye over ten pounds being recorded. The outpost camps are fully equipped for housekeeping, clean and comfortable. Boats at the outpost camps are 14’ and 16' Nadens with 9.9hp Mercury Motors. The Attawapiskat River drift-boat adventure is an awesome experience as well. You drift down the river between designated camping spots and catch tons of feisty Walleye and monster Northern Pike while experiencing spectacular un-touched nature.
